We are located at Medavakkam, Chennai, Tamilnadu.

We are open from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday for ages from 6 months – 14 years.

Our Pre-school may not be a place where formal education is imparted but yes, it definitely is a place where children have their first taste of independence. And today, with both the parents working, Pre-School is becoming an inevitable part of a child’s life. When we talk about independence, it relates to a child remaining away from his/her parents for a couple of hours, thus breaking free off the separation anxiety. Play-school also prepares children for the bigger school, instilling self-confidence and independence in them.

It has got to be one of the most difficult dilemmas a couple can face. The kids are in school and both parents are working. If you are part of the majority of people who work the typical nine to seven day, what do you do when the school day ends at 3:00 or 3:30pm? You can’t leave your kids home alone for three hours until you arrive yourself around 6:00pm. You cannot keep relying on family and neighbors. You need to find safe, reliable, and affordable care for your kids, but more often than not that is easier said than done.

All school users will need to complete a user authorization form which is signed by Correspondent, and complete the form to obtain a login and password to use our school functional details.

Regular school programs are scheduled from 8:30 till 14:00, but after school program are from 12:00 noon to 19:00. After school programs are specially designed for working parents.

Yes, but this needs special approval from the school correspondent.

Your child will be exposed to a wide range of self learning and innovative academic facilities, interactive learning, good infrastructure. Development of body, mind and soul, provide love and care to make the child feel at home.

Yes, the curriculum is based on Montessori, which prepares your child to adapt to any of CBSE and ICSE syllabus.

The core team of Sahasras are trained and certified in daycare and Montessori.

Yes, Sahasras provide nutrition balanced food through the day for all children.

Yes this is possible, but only on exceptional cases and upon prior approval from the correspondent.

As soon as the staff notices any illness, the child will be moved to the leisure room and the parents/guardians are informed via email/fax/sms/telephone.

Curriculum is revised every year, but activities are designed everyday according to child’s interest.

Yes, we have specially designed program for all classes.

Surveillance camera is fixed all parts of school and you can view from office room. And we will be sending daily sheet for your reference, and you can discuss with us on the day of parent-teacher meeting once in a term. You are free to come and clarify your doubts then and then when required from the concern staff.

Yes, and you are most welcome to be at our school, and share your vies without disturbing the session.

No Packed food is allowed from home, occasionally if doctor as suggested some diet can be send with prior intimation to the concern staff.

Aggressive kids are something which worries for more than one of us, but it can be easy to deal with them, if you have the right tools – Patience, with this tool, you’ll became your child’s friend and make him/her become your ally. We accept that every kid is different from each other. We check if the kid needs more entertainment. We reward every good behavior. We never yell or spank the kid.
